Our Beliefs

We believe that welcoming Christ into our life is a personal decision that needs to be lived out in community.Knowing and accepting this, we also believe that:

God loves us no matter what.
God changes our life through prayer.

Our Values

Because we love the Lord our God, we will receive our value, power and hope from God by:

Speaking and listening to Him daily through prayer,
Studying the Bible,
Worshiping Him together,
Accepting His Grace with joy,
Living peaceably with others,
Growing spiritually,
Reaching out to serve, and
Sharing the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Because we take seriously His command to love others, we will go the second mile in treating others with patience, kindness, gentleness, respect, love and forgiveness.

Our Vision

We strive for a meaningful participation of all people, no matter their age, race or gender, and enjoy including them and finding a place where each person’s gifts are used and shared. The passing of the peace is important to us not only in worship but in our life together. We enjoy fellowship through meals, activities and involvement in the life of our community.

We are open and accepting of others thoughts and interpretations, and we value generational participation in all aspects of the church and are democratic in governance. We are guided by the scriptures, the teachings and connection with our denomination yet value our ecumenical ties with other denominations. We are known for our passionate mission work; and desire joy, excitement and inclusivity in our community of faith.

We are laser focused in our mission as we hear God’s call, excited with our present, unafraid of our future, and committed to each other as believers in Christ.
